Mid and East Antrim Borough Council (MEABC) seeks to appoint a suitably qualified organisation/consortium/individual(s) to supply and deliver the Plot to Plate Programme, (part of the PEACEPLUS Local Action Plan) as detailed within this specification. The Plot to Plate Programme is a health and wellbeing programme, which encourages people to get outdoors, improve their knowledge of nutrition and promote horticulture (which has known mental health benefits). As a result, participants will then lead healthier and happier lives through tasks such as growing vegetables, herbs, and fruit, as well as through learning how to cook them in imaginative ways, along with learning more about food nutrition and sustainability. The programme will involve engaging with community organisations, volunteers, and individuals across the Borough through a variety of approaches, maximising participation opportunities, including participation from schools in some elements.
