The Ministry of Foreign Affairs invites potential suppliers to a market dialogue prior to the planned procurement of sat for Norway ́s foreign stations. The objective of the market dialogue is to examine what possibilities exist in the market in addition to receiving input on what we ought to focus on in the coming procurement. We particularly encourage tenderers to give feedback on what can be seen as exclusive, competitive and/or price driven in a coming procurement. Norway ́s foreign stations need secure and stable data lines against the Internet. This is partly covered by signing an agreement on internet lines in the country where the foreign station is, but they also depend on global internet deliveries either in the form of SAT, as discussed in this market dialogue, or by WAN as discussed in a parallel market dialogue. The current contract for SAT services expires in 2028. There is therefore a need to start a new procurement to ensure that the new contract is in place and new lines are implemented before the current agreement expires.
