The Pharmacy and the Dietetics Department of St Vincent’s University Hospital seek to establish a direct contract with a single supplier for the provision of a comprehensive range of parenteral nutrition products, ancillary items, and associated services to support the clinical nutrition needs of the hospital and its patient population. The successful Tenderer (hereinafter referred to as "the Supplier") shall be required to supply the full range of parenteral nutrition products and services as specified herein, which can include but not be limited to: - Standard hospital-specific parenteral nutrition regimens in ready-to-use multi-chamber bags. - Patient-specific (bespoke) parenteral nutrition formulations compounded to individual prescriptions. - Home parenteral nutrition products and associated services. - Basic training, update and customer and clinical support services. The above items constitute the minimum required supply and service over the course of this Agreement. Other items may include, but not be limited to: - Disposal of unused products - Emergency delivery services - All ancillary items required for the safe administration of parenteral nutrition. - Technology solution(s) for ordering, tracking, waste reduction or elimination and for clinical decision support. The Contracting Authority reserves the right to increase or decrease volumes in accordance with clinical demand. Suppliers should generally expect demand to fluctuate over the course of the contract, in line with seasonality, surgical activity and other factors.
