The objective of the procurement is to enter into a contract with a turnkey contractor for the establishment of a robust and functional sorting hall connected to the existing paper sorting facility. The hall shall be used for receiving, sorting and milling combustible residue waste, reloading directly to containers and internal operations with wheel loaders and other mechanical equipment. The turnkey contractor shall have total responsibility for the detailed and production engineering design services, government contributions, procurement, ground and concrete work, steel hall and climate shell, technical installations, testing, documentation and hand-over of a complete function ready building, with the limitations expressed in the contract. A contractor could be expected to collaborate with a "hall supplier", but there is no requirement and only mention is given in the case that some service providers spend time finding each other. According to the plan, the competition can be announced in week 43, but this can be delayed. The aim is to get a contract signed before the Christmas break 2026.
