The purpose of the procurement is to enter a contract for the purchase of one (1) robot-based Directed Energy Deposition (DED) system for additive manufacturing research at NTNU. The system shall include a complete, turnkey DED cell with robot, laser source, wire feed system, workpiece positioner, safety enclosure, control system, and associated software.
