Trinity College Dublin request the supply of an Integrated Controller and Software for a Real Time Hybrid Structural Test System for testing of structures subjected to dynamic loading. The new controller and software package will be direct replacements for antiquated components in an existing real-time hybrid testing system. This system uses a 150kN actuator to apply force and/or displacement to test specimens. Hydraulic power supplied by an air-cooled HPU with a capacity of 100lpm. Hybrid testing is an advanced form of structural testing that integrates laboratory experiments with computational modelling. The structure to be investigated is partitioned into two substructures, one of which is physically tested in the laboratory while the response of the other is modelled using computational methods.
