Description

Lot 5 : Fire Safety Consultant (FSC) as Principal Service Provider will become part of the overall framework with the following design team disciplines already tendered - (Lots): Lot 1: Architect (AR): as Principal Service Provider with the following Specialists domestic sub-consultants, or in-house specialisms: a) Planner (PL). b) BIM Information Manager (BIM). Lot 2: Quantity Surveyor (QS), as Principal Service Provider. Lot 3: Building Services Engineer (M+E), as Principal Service Provider. Lot 4: Civil / Structural Engineer (C+S), as Principal Service Provider. Lot 6: Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP), as Principal Service Provider. Lot 7: Employer Representative (ER), as Principal Service Provider. Lot 8: Energy Efficiency Design Facilitator (EEDF), as Principal Service Provider. Lot 9: Assigned Certifier (AC), as Principal Service Provider. The Health Services Executive (HSE) invites expressions of interest, under the Restricted Procedure, from suitably qualified Fire Safety Consultant (FSC) Service providers for inclusion in the overall design team services (including Specialist Skills Providers) with the above lots listed already established in a Multi-Party Framework Agreement for each Lot type, to award call-off contracts for Acute and Non-Acute Healthcare Capital Works – project value €50M-€400M excl. VAT within HSE North West Area. Please note that the INITIAL project forming Framework for this regional / sub - regional office NW West Area will be a Development on Letterkenny University Hospital campus comprising Ambulatory Oncology, Surgical Hub and 72 Bed Ward accommodation and associated infrastructure at Letterkenny University Hospital. Phase One of the development will include construction of the ambulatory oncology department and the surgical hub, as well as shell space for future fit out. Phase Two of the development will include the fit out of shell space to provide three 24 bed wards to be designed in accordance with the HSE exemplar design guidance for 24 Bed Acute Care Standard Inpatient Ward Block. Further Phases of the development may be required for the fit out of shell space as dictated by the design and definitive final brief. Each Phase of the development may progress through the HSE stage approvals independent of each another. It is envisaged that an enabling works package will be required as part of the development. The extent and the scope of the enabling works will be dependent on the chosen location of the new development at Letterkenny University Hospital. Enabling works may include upgrade works to site infrastructure including car-parking and mechanical and electrical services. The design team will advise on the full scope and extent of enabling works required to facilitate the development as described. Please see SAQ / Tender document pack
