Description

DTU Physics intends to order 5 full clean room workbenches as parts of setting up new quantum optics laboratories for research into quantum sensing and quantum computation. The desired clean room workbenches are custom systems from Spetec GmbH. We have several of these systems already in our labs, and they have been developed in close collaboration between Spetec and QPIT at DTU Physics over many years. These systems fulfill our requirements which includes (i) adjustable laminar airflow module with (ii) integrated dimmable light using LEDs with minimal infrared components. The workbenches (iii) need to be compatible with our optical table systems and (iv) our electronics infrastructure, (v) grant 360 degree access to the experiments inside with (vi) windows that can be easily opened to allow access to the experiments inside. Considering that no other manufacturers can deliver these custom systems with these specifications, DTU intends to place an order for the clean room workbenches to be delivered and installed by Spetec GmbH.
