The HLA laboratory of UMC Utrecht wishes to consult the market regarding the replacement of the current diagnostic HLA typing methods with a single PCR-NGS method based on nanopore sequencing. The replacement process must be carried out within a single integrated workflow. The HLA typing consists of urgent HLA typing of donors (approximately 50 per year) as well as routine diagnostic HLA typing (approximately 200 typings for stem cell transplantation and 1,200 single loci for HLA and disease associations).
