The Contracting Authority (Dublin City Council) proposes to engage in a competitive process to establish a multi-party framework agreement for Works Contractors to carry out investigations, repairs, retrofit, refurbishment and renewal works to Dublin City Councils properties, and adaptive reuse of suitable buildings as housing. DCC have a project pipeline for refurbishment of c. 10 buildings including multi-unit buildings, protected structures and own door properties. It is envisaged to refurbish these buildings to provide a number of housing typologies including, Homeless Accommodation, Shared living and Social Housing units. In most cases the subject buildings are old properties that are in disrepair and buildings that are protected structures. Standalone enabling and building investigation works maybe also required to be carried out on projects.
