Description

The Agri‑Food and Biosciences Institute (AFBI) is one of the world’s leading providers of scientific research and evidence-based services to government, non-governmental, and commercial organisations. With a unique breadth of facilities and multidisciplinary scientific capability spanning agriculture, animal health, food, the environment, biosciences, and economics, AFBI undertakes a wide range of impactful research projects for both the public and private sectors. The Fisheries and Aquatic Ecosystems Branch (FAEB) of AFBI requires the procurement of one flow cytometry-based plankton imaging system capable of high resolution imaging, optical triggering, and automated morphological analysis of marine plankton and suspended particulates. AFBI requires the supply, delivery, installation, and commissioning of the complete system, including all necessary hardware, software, accessories, and consumables to ensure full operational capability. Comprehensive warranty coverage, and reactive repair support are mandatory requirements, as well as the provision of on site operator training for AFBI staff to ensure effective use of the equipment post commissioning.
