This tender is issued to obtain expert support in the following areas: I. Assessment of the (cumulative) effects of Dutch offshore wind farms on protected species and habitats. The concerning species and habitats are listed in the European Habitat and Birds Directives, and in Dutch law defined in the Offshore Wind Energy Act (Article 7), the Environment and Planning Act (Article 5.1) and the Environmental Activities Decree (Articles 11.37, 11.46 and 11.54); II. Provision of strategic advice based on the outcomes of these assessments, to inform site decisions and/or tender criteria - for example in relation to (mitigation) measures, knowledge gaps and development, and monitoring. -
