The system shall be able to handle a broad range of plant species and growth media and enable precise and repetitive image based phenotyping using different sensor technologies. The system shall include software for data acquisition, analysis and visualisation, support for secure and scaleable data storage as well as integrated with the existing research infrastructure. The system is expected to facilitate operational security, user safety and sustainable long-term use.
