The Contracting Authority invites tenders for the supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, validation, and initial technical support of one nanoindentation system used for research laboratory activities in materials science. The proposed system will be used for high-precision mechanical characterization of hard materials such as alumina Al2O3, silicon carbide SiC, different types of minerals and composites, etc. as well as hard coatings. Experiments and services planned for the instrument include, but not limited in, advanced micrometer-scale nanoindentation, hardness/modulus mapping, creep testing, and related studies on ceramics and hard coating. The objective is to acquire robust and high-performance nanoindentation system that combines exceptional sensitivity and resolution with operational simplicity, intuitive software, and streamlined workflow.
