Het Centraal Diagnostisch Laboratorium (CDL) van het UMC Utrecht voert 24/7 bloedgasdiagnostiek uit ter ondersteuning van acute en klinische zorgprocessen, zowel centraal in het laboratorium als via Point of Care. De POC-bloedgasapparatuur wordt onder andere gebruikt door de afdeling Longfunctie. Deze aanbesteding is om de bestaande bloedgasapparatuur te vervangen door toekomstbestendige systemen die voldoen aan actuele eisen op het gebied van functionaliteit, informatiebeveiliging en IT-integratie. De aanschaf betreft in totaal vier bloedgassystemen inclusief software, onderhoud en de benodigde reagens en controles.
