Østfold University College needs to strengthen its capacity within advanced calculations, data analysis and artificial intelligence. This involves the need for a high-performance server platform with significant processing power, memory capacity and GPU acceleration. The planned procured system is a specialised server configured with, among other things, high-performance CPUs, large memory capacity and NVIDIA H200 GPUs, optimised for heavy computing tasks and machine learning work. The system also includes the necessary storage, network and support agreement. The system must also be compatible with the existing server park and be included as an integrated part of the current infrastructure. We intend to enter into a contract for a server platform for CPU intensive workloads, AI training and GPU accelerated calculations. The system must support Intel Xeon 6 processors with high 128 P-core capacity as well as NVIDIA H200 GPUs. The objective of the procurement is to ensure sufficient capacity for research and development activities, as well as facilitate for further development and use of advanced analysis and IC methods in the entity.
