Metsähallitus Parks & Wildlife Finland is preparing the procurement of visitor counters. The procurement concerns visitor counter devices suitable for outdoor use and related services, such as: -Visitor counters that detect direction of travel, operate without mains electricity, and withstand varying weather conditions. -Data storage and transmission solutions, including automatic and manual transfer to a cloud service. -Device configuration, monitoring and management services, such as remote control and fault/incident alerts. -Possible automatic gap-filling or reconstruction for missing time periods (e.g., statistical methods and their transparency). -A user interface and cloud service from which data can be delivered to Metsähallitus’ NASTA system via an API interface. -Maintenance, support, and spare parts services. This request for information is not a contract notice, and responding to it does not constitute participation in any actual procurement procedure. No compensation will be paid for responses, and failure to respond will not affect participation in any possible future tendering procedure. Metsähallitus is not committed to initiating a procurement process, and the content and scope of any potential procurement may change significantly from the plans presented at this stage. Responses are requested by email to lphankinta@metsa.fi no later than 17 August 2026 at 16:00.
